Vienna, October 2022. Afghan citizens are continuing to seek ways to leave the country, partly due to the political regime, their personal safety and due to the lack of access to food and jobs.
In search of reliable information many fall prey to scam posts of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or even TikTok.

The #Facebook page of Afghanistan Migrant Resource Centre counts over 120,000 followers and provides valuable guidance to Afghans specifically through live sessions and short instructional videos; as well as through the Messenger tool. Facebook is available in most neighbouring countries as well as Turkey.
Targeted campaigns reach out specifically to Afghans in the country as well as on the move, ensuring that people have access to objective and #credibleinformation and guidance and counter the narrative of #smugglingnetworks.
